Configuring environment variables for Alfresco Process Services Administrator

It is possible to override the default variables to configure the Docker container.

The following table shows a list of environment variables that can be used to configure the Docker container.

Variable name Default Corresponding value in activiti-admin.properties
ACTIVITI_ADMIN_DATASOURCE_URL jdbc:h2:tcp://localhost/activiti-admin datasource.url
ACTIVITI_ADMIN_DATASOURCE_DRIVER org.h2.Driver datasource.driver
ACTIVITI_ADMIN_DATASOURCE_USERNAME alfresco datasource.username
ACTIVITI_ADMIN_DATASOURCE_PASSWORD alfresco datasource.password
ACTIVITI_ADMIN_HIBERNATE_DIALECT org.hibernate.dialect.H2Dialect hibernate.dialect
ACTIVITI_ADMIN_REST_APP_HOST http://localhost rest.app.host
ACTIVITI_ADMIN_REST_APP_PORT 8080 rest.app.port
ACTIVITI_ADMIN_REST_APP_USERNAME admin@app.activiti.com rest.app.user
ACTIVITI_ADMIN_REST_APP_PASSWORD admin rest.app.password
Alternatively, you can import your own property file by either:
  • Mounting your properties file in /usr/share/tomcat/lib using Docker volumes
  • Specifying an environment variable for your activiti-admin.properties file that points to an accessible location such as an S3 bucket. For example:
    environment:
    ACTIVITI_ADMIN_EXTERNAL_PROPERTIES_FILE: https://your-s3-bucket.com/activiti-admin.properties
