The major focus of Alfresco Digital Workspace 1.2 is its compatibility with Alfresco Governance Services 3.1, including archiving to Amazon S3 Glacier.

Alfresco Governance Services

Working with records

End user Alfresco Governance Services features are now available in Alfresco Digital Workspace, including declaring a file as a record.

Archiving into long term storage

End users can archive and restore files utilizing long term storage, like Amazon S3 Glacier, to minimise the cost of storage for infrequently accessed files.

Multi-language support

Alfresco Digital Workspace now supports 17 languages across the user interface. The language is automatically set based on browser locale settings.

Supported languages are: US English (en), German (de), Spanish (es), French (fr), Italian (it), Japanese (ja), Dutch (nl), Simplified Chinese (zh_CN), Russian (ru), Norwegian Bokmål (nb), Brazilian Portuguese (pt_BR), Polish (pl), Swedish (sv), Finnish (fi), Danish (da), Czech (cs) and Arabic (ar).

This documentation is also available in the following languages: Čeština, Dansk, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, 日本語, Bokmål, Nederlands, Polski, Português (Brasil), Русский, Svenska, Suomi, 中文简体.
